Here is my homemade version of harissa, the North African hot sauce condiment. You can adjust the spice according to your liking.
Harissa
1/4 cup tomato paste
1 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes
1/4 teaspoon cayenne
1/4 cup olive oil
1/4 cup red wine vinegar
2 cloves chopped garlice
Combine everything. Serve with your favorite tagine dish.
