Cashew chicken
March 17, 2008 by kitchenetta

Tonight I made a recipe that I saw on Simply Recipes that sounded too good to pass on. It was quite easy to make, and came together in a jiffy. Preparing it was half the fun, especially adjusting the seasonings; eating it was the rest of the fun - we literally inhaled it and it was gone! Where did it all go? One bite just led to another and another - make sure you try this one - a real winner. Enjoy! (Thanks, Elise.)

hi
i discovered your blog today…
great blog will be going through the whole blog soon.
This recipe seems to be great especially for our Indian palate and for our coastal preferences. My native village is full of coconuts , rice and cashewnuts and so this dish will be ideal.
I am a bit skeptical about the use of honey in my recipe as we have never used the combination of honey and chicken we normally use a lot of coconut milk and no sweetness for our chicken dishes so will it be ok to try it without honey or do i have to use it to make it as tasty as it looks.
Hi Akshata,
I have no idea how this would taste without the honey, but one thing I would recommend is to taste it as you cook. I found that I added a little more honey as I made it, just to my own personal preference. Maybe you could start with no honey and then add if it needs it?
