On one of the cooler nights last week, I decided to try this recipe from We Are Never Full blog. I modified it only slightly, using turkey bacon instead of regular bacon, and I used boneless, skinless chicken thighs for my chicken pieces. The sauce was very well-developed and very complementary to the chicken and the figs, and really a great fall dish. I served it with some fresh baked bread, especially good for sopping up gravy.
